Influenced by the JAPANESE EDO and MEIJI PERIOD ART, CHI'ING DYNASTY prints, Egyptian arts, and Modern Judaica, Bruce Goodman of SPARE TIME VENTURES creates each exquisite HANDMADE bag in his studio in Westerville, Ohio. His philosophy is "Creativity is Contagious"!

Bruce begins each bag by precisely cutting and gluing handmade papers or 7 layer printed papers (YUZEN WASHI) to a wood and plastic shell. The surface is sealed with a crystal-clear, .05 mil. laminate for easy care and will provide years of protection from the elements.

Note the brass hinges which contrast beautifully with the copper rivets. A 50 inch nylon cord is attached to the top of the purse and a HAND MADE SLIDE BEAD is added to adjust the length to your liking. The inside is luxurious too: a small mirror is nestled on felt.
