Fan Handbag: Blue with White Gingko Leaves

Fashioned from a TEA CEREMONY kimono (Hitoe or Awase) this specially decorated kimono was worn when attending a tea ceremony, a cherry blossom viewing or special outing. This traditional design features a background in different SHADES OF BLUE with GREEN AND WHITE GINGKO LEAVES. This purse measures approximately 8" X 8" and is made of black raw silk, kimono panels, a tassel, 52" cord, and a nylon zipper with tear drop pull. Thoughtfully tucked inside each purse is a "historical information" card.
