Look at all of the NEW STYLES that TUTELA offers now! Launched in 2002, Jill Mustoffa and Christiane White started Tutela Handbags using their own collection of of VINTAGE FABRICS. They have grown to a small band of hardworking artisans who love what they do. Their creations are LIMITED EDITION, many of them one of a kind pieces. They have since found a lot of new fabrics that are reproduction or vintage inspired, allowing them to offer more handbags. However, each bag is still unique, with the print placement different on each bag.

People that collect Tutela Handbags consider them works of art, and display them as such. All of their handbags are made in COLORADO at their in-house production studio.

Most of Tutela's prints are urethane-infused, which makes their bags waterproof, resistant to bacteria, flame resistant, and wipeable/washable! Most of the vinyls are polyurethane, which more environmentally friendly than PVC.

Some of you may be wondering about their unusual name - TUTELA - its actually a German slang for bag. It also means trustee, or guardian in Italian...and it really sounds fun when you say it! Have fun with their great bags!
