Launched in 2002, Jill Mustoffa and Christiane White started Tutela Handbags using their own collection of of VINTAGE FABRICS. Their creations were LIMITED EDITION, one of a kind pieces. They have since found a lot of new fabrics that are reproduction or vintage inspired, allowing them to offer more handbags. However, each bag is still unique, with the print placement different on each bag.

People that collect Tutela Handbags consider them works of art, and display them as such. All of their handbags are made in COLORADO at their in-house production studio.

Some of you may be wondering about their unusual name - TUTELA - its actually a German slang for bag. It also means trustee, or guardian in Italian...and it really sounds fun when you say it! Have fun with their great bags!
